it’s unhealthy, the way the snow has slowed us, WHY, OH, YOU ARE making this hard….
Okay, I’ll stop. Trying to set my blog title to the mental tune of a Rihanna song is a flawed idea in the first place. But, the snow is just wreaking havoc on our PAL program, and it’s making me a little silly.
Not that we’re at a crisis point or anything serious, but we’ve missed a lot of flex days lately, and we faculty advisers are caught in the throes of longing to see our precious PAL groups.
Mr. Burton has been ordering equipment for his radio group; he’s won a grant for several thousand dollars, and it’s giving him great joy (I know, I can hear the cackling) to order supplies for the group. They’ve all been working hard, and it shows in their enthusiasm and their successes.
I happened to see the post the student leader of the Computer Science PAL group left for his group on one of the snow days, and I can say with full confidence that they are vigorously pursuing their group’s goals even in the face of demoralizing (lovely) snow days.
The documentary film group has acquired a fancy-pants new desktop to use for their data storage and film editing, and eventually they’re going to get to even put it together and turn it on.
TARC has never quit working; they’ve had some Saturday qualifying sessions and are moving right along towards their qualifiying goals. Yay, rockets!
Stay tuned for further PAL group updates over the course of the this week!
