The Warrenton campus VEX Team has completed a protobot. It moves, turns on a dime, and when running, looks like it has a cute face with blinking eyes. It has been named Ed (coincidentally the name of the Editor’s college dorm fish; I have high hopes things will fare better for the protobot. RIP, Fish Ed). The team has decided to work towards a competition in Richmond in February.
The Ecology Club has completed their initial survey of trails and activities available in Shenandoah National Park and have sorted the pictures from the Old Rag Hike last week. Lots of pictures. Everyone took pictures. These, and the other information gathered from individual trips to explore the park, will form the basis for the guide the club is preparing for the Park Service web site.
